Welcome to the Levin Hustle Baseball Club Inc. Webpage. Here is where you will find all the information on what's happening with our ball club. The Levin Hustle Baseball club is a new local sporting organization, focused on the development of the growing sport of baseball in the Horowhenua. Committed to providing young boys and girls with new and exciting opportunities locally, nationally and internationally. 

 

In the last season, we have been able to achieve a great deal, Including:

​

·         Forming an U13 team to compete against other Wellington teams – providing them with uniforms and equipment 

·         Host Didi Gregorius of the New York Yankees, who took a training clinic for local players.

·         Enabled a group of our players to play at the Ripken U13 National Baseball Championships

·         Levin Hustle Baseball Club was nominated for Club of the year at the Baseball NZ Annual Awards for the 2016/17 Season

·         Club member, Flynn Warren (10yrs old) has been offered the opportunity to represent Baseball NZ and the Levin Hustle at the World Children’s Baseball Fair this coming August in Yokohama, Japan.

 

Following a successful inaugural season, 2017 will see a continuation of the growth of our club with some exciting and new initiatives including:

​

·         Establishing own local league beginning in October 2017. 

·         Selection of a “Travel” team (U13 mixed), which will be part of the Wellington Baseball competition, and will play games both in Levin and away. 

·         This team will also be looking to attend the 2018 Ripken U13 National Baseball Championships in Auckland.

·         Organising & hosting our own U13 tournament to be held on Waitangi Weekend 2018

·         Helping all Junior Ballplayers to reach their potential on the field by providing opportunities to them wherever those opportunities are identified.
